Hi, I’m Jon. I’ve spent over 25 years as a professional photographer, working on both sides of the Atlantic.Looking back, my career hasn’t followed a typical path. While I’ve primarily focused on editorial portrait photography, I’ve explored a variety of other genres whenever opportunities arose. My website presents a chronological timeline of galleries, beginning with my first experiences in photography during high school (secondary school), through my time assisting commercial photographers in London. It features editorial portraits from both before and after my move from London to San Francisco in the 1990s.

After relocating to the U.S., I worked on documentary films, photographed athletes for the 2004 Olympic trials, shot stills on TV commercials, and spent three years photographing golf courses for a gaming startup. I also shot fine art aerial photography, which I loved—apart from the expense!

It has been several years since I last worked professionally; my final assignment was for Peet’s Coffee in 2014. These days, I’m a product manager at Zenfolio, where I help develop new features and enjoy seeing the incredible work other photographers shoot and showcase on our platform.
